Truro Cathedral in Malpas

St. Austell Bay

The largest town in Cornwall, St Austell has been a key part of the landscape since the thirteenth century. Today, a visit to St Austell Bay is a must on anyone’s itinerary. The town itself has plenty to offer, including old churches, charming facades, and plenty of shops and restaurants.

St. Michael’s Mount

This island has been the centre of local myths and legends for over a thousand years. It’s easy to spend a full day here, and there’s plenty to keep visitors busy. The historic castle is still a private residence but has several well-preserved rooms open for the public to explore.

Visit the Eden Project

One of the most famous modern sights in the local area is the Eden Project. This spectacular tribute to the natural world has been named Best UK Leisure Attraction by the British Travel Awards five years in a row and attracts over one million visitors each year.
